As the New Orleans Saints arrive at Downtown Miami’s Intercontinental Hotel this evening where they will be staying through the Super Bowl, the iconic Miami Tower is rolling out the welcome mat in Miami style. Tonight at nightfall, the landmark office building –- one of the most recognizable buildings in Miami’s skyline — will light up the sky in gold in recognition of the Saints’ stay in Downtown. The building will light up each night, beginning Monday, Feb 1st through Wednesday Fed 3rd.

The iconic I.M. Pei-designed Miami Tower office building will be illuminated in a sea of gold lights. The Miami Tower will be lit in Saints colors February 1, 2 and 3 to mark the team’s Downtown Miami arrival, according to the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

Miami Tower is a 47-story, 600,000 square-foot I.M. Pei-designed office tower in Downtown Miami. The class-A tower has earned ‘icon’ status for its changing palette of exterior lighting schemes timed to coincide with holidays, sporting events and other significant occasions.
