Rooftop Lounge at the Townhouse Hotel

The Townhouse Hotel recently completed renovations famous Rooftop Lounge and marked the occasion with a grand re-opening celebration.The renovations included reconstruction of the hotel’s landmark, the famous lighthouse that shines the way to the open air Rooftop Lounge. The event not only marked the completed project, but also served as a 5 year anniversary that well known DJ and Host Chris Chrebet has been entertaining locals at the Rooftop Lounge.

Additional entertainment came in the form of a visual spectacle by the attendance of 300 “Goddesses” from Mama Gena’s School for the Womanly Arts. Mama Gena, who heads what she terms the “Pleasure Revolution”, arrived at the Rooftop Lounge with women from as far away as Denmark, Italy, and Sweden to take part in the festivities at the Townhouse Hotel. The group was in town for what is being called a “Worldwide Sister Goddess Reunion” and when Mama Gena was asked to describe what this means, she said explained the gathering as:

The world’s biggest research lab to learn what is required to harness the force of nature that women are and to cultivate their power to attract.

Adding to all that excitement, the event served as a fundraiser for www.LeggoMyDemo.com. The website, which was initially funded by a $30,000 grant from The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, was started to help provide promotion for underground electronic music artists from all over the world that, without it, might never have their music heard.

Patrons shared in the dance grooves laid down by DJ and Host Chris, the visual appeal of the 300 Goddesses from Mama Gena’s School for the Womanly Arts, and any and all who were looking for a fantastic time and celebrating the grand re-opening of the Rooftop Lounge.
