Segways are 2 wheeled human transporters that are fun for the whole family. The HT model requires no special skills and after a quick orientation you’ll be ready to roll! Battery operated, the Segway ranges 10-22 miles on a single charge. Carrying capacity is up to 260 pounds and the maximum speed is 12.5 MPH.
Beach Scooters (1341 Washington Avenue, 305-538-7878) rents scooters, motorcycles, electric cars, and luxury autos from three separate South Beach locations. Opened in 1998, Beach Scooters include Daelim, TGB, Hyosung , Adly and Zongshen brands. Rental fees include free riding lessons, locks and helmets for your safety. Open from 10am-8pm, customers can also pick up their rides at 1435 Collins Avenue (305-538-0977) and 213 Sixth Street (305-604-1718) on South Beach.
