Located just one block off of trendy Lincoln Road, Miss Yip Chinese Café is a spunky sanctuary for those in need of traditional Chinese fare in a not-so-traditional setting. While other Chinese restaurants tend to skimp on the details, Miss Yip is the antithesis of cheap Chinese food, although the prices are still inexpensive.

The restaurant’s interior is bright, the walls lined with funky artifacts collected by owner Jennie Yip during her trips around the globe. Classic Chinese offerings such as Kunk Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef flow from Chef Vincent Cheng’s kitchen at a near constant rate, as the wait staff hurries to satisfy their many waiting patrons.

And being that Miss Yip is the only restaurant around to serve Dim Sum specialties, the funky café is sure to be a hit for years to come.
