South Beach patterns it’s unique social dynamic upon Lifetime TV’s most fashion-conscious series Project Runway - “One Day You’re IN and the Next Day You’re OUT!” That’s why we’re encouraging you to hit Louis at the trendy Gansevoort Hotel this Thursday night in celebration of the brand new list of Miami’s Dynamic Movers and Shakers. Who knows? Maybe YOU made the cut!
The launch party for the November issue of Vantage Magazine kicks off Thursday, November 5 at 11pm with featured singer/songwriter Jamie Jo Harris playing DJ and spinning her debut single “U Turn Me On.” What turns her on most is the opportunity to partner with one of pop music’s most legendary voices!
Harris made the list of Miami’s Movers and Shakers partly because she’s teamed up with local disco-era legend Barry Gibb of the BeeGees to sing this sweet new pop duet. Back in the 80s, Gibb paired his famous falsetto voice with Barbra Streisand’s on the Grammy Award-winning album “Guilty” which went on to sell over 20 million copies. A member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame with a nine time Grammy Award-winning producer, Jamie Jo Harris might just be the next big thing!
If you are interested in hearing the pop songstress and partying with some of Miami Beach’s other notable scenesters, hit Louis around midnight Thursday and enjoy additional entertainment by Beau Beasley and Krazy Eddy plus music by Louis Dee.
Louis Bar-Lounge is located in the lobby area of the Gansevoort Hotel at 2325 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. A second party zone on the hotel roof is called Plunge which features panoramic views of the city and a popular pool bar.
