Toward the northern end of Key Biscayne you’ll find Crandon Park which is located just passed the Crandon Marina. The Park has possibly the widest range of activities of any park in Miami. The 18-hole Crandon Park Golf Course is one of the finest in all of Miami and gives its golfers beautiful views of Biscayne Bay.
In addition to the Crandon Park Tennis Center there’s also kayak rentals, biking, volleyball, baseball and outdoor skating rink.
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center, which was named after the journalist and conservationist who championed the protection of Florida’s wetlands, is the county’s eco-tourism center and provides guided nature walks along Key Biscayne’s eastern shore, moonlit canoe trips amd turtle release tours. You’ll also find Crandon Gardens, a former zoo with free-roaming swans, iguanas and an American crocodile
