The traditional French fare is based largely in crepes—both sweet and savory—and classic sandwiches served on baguettes. Bring a group of friends, order a bottle of wine off their inexpensive list, order the Plateau Royal (assorted cheeses, cold cuts, pâtés, tomatoes, salad cornichons, raisins and walnuts served in two sizes: small $13, large $18) and some escargot, and pretend you have been whisked away to Western France and are therefore free to enjoy your wine and your company for as many hours as you see fit.
